BATTER..............AVG B4.....H/AB.......RBI.......AVG
SMITH...................331..........7/16..........3.........349
DiGIANCOMO........286.........5/12.........1..........298
DUPLANTIS..........284.........11/15........7..........310
CABRERA.............297..........6/14.........6..........312
BROUSSARD........213..........4/12.........4..........228
BELOSO...............279..........4/15.........5..........285
GARZA.................212..........2/11.........2..........190
BIANCO................103..........3/6..........2..........149
WILLIS..................233..........3/11.........1..........244

Smith raised his avg by 18, DiGiancomo by 12, Duplantis by 26, Cabrera by 12, Broussard by 15, Beloso by 6, Bianco by 46 & Willis by 11! Garza was the only Tiger who saw his average drop over the weekend. I loved seeing AD go 11/15 with 7 RBIs!

By the end of the season Cade Beloso is going to be a freshman all American, lead this team in HRs, and Lead this team on a hell of a run.
I’ve watched and umped thousands of games and this kid is as good of a talent as I’ve seen in a very long time.

Hope you are right. The opposite field hits are a good sign from him

this is what stands out the most. When a power hitter is able to hit to all fields, it is a thing of beauty.

His weakness still seems to be that 12/6 or change on the inner half. He is holding his front shoulder in more now and able to keep the bat in the zone longer. Love that.

Can we just play good baseball for a week straight before we all get excited and starts saying great things. 2 games ago the sky was falling. Florida is garbage but give LSU credit for looking like they actually have a pulse and started hitting. This team is getting healthier and hopefully at seasons end they possibly host. I don’t see a top 8 at all. Please be a realistic fan and know that this team is way to inconsistent to be a host of the season ended today. I love LSU more than any sport on campus and follow it more than 99% of the so called experts on this board. Just be happy with a host if they even get to that.

Nobody is more realistic than me - I can assure you of that. Before the injuries piled up I predicted us to go 23-7. Obviously, that is not likely, but I still believe they will win the west and SEC overall. If they do that, they will host considering they beat MSU, TAMU head to head. UGA is gonna fade.

Lol. Realism works both ways. The sky was never falling, we just were pitching an assortment of people on Friday instead of our season long Friday night starter who was injured. We were first in the SEC before Mizzou and I think we will be 1st in the SEC by the end of it all.

I don’t see that either. Even though I don’t think they are the best team in the league, I still see them being a top 8 seed.

Beloso is so good. He gets really angry when he misses a pitch or doesn't make a solid connection. he has the same reaction as a fan does when he misses one he thinks he should have (of) smashed. great to see that commitment. he is mad at the ball all the time and wants to crush it, he's very aggressive at the plate.

he does a good job at 1st base also - he's LSU's Boog Powell

they go to State and AU. I think both of those schools take 2/3. AU is good at home. Ask Ole Miss. That’s 4 losses with State losing. LSU has to zero in and buckle down, but these youngsters are growning up.

Even if you have them losing that series, with bama and florida at home i dont see how they dont go at least 19-11 and likely 20-10. I also wouldnt count them out of winning any weekend with their rotation. They have 3 possible aces starting for them. They lost at tennessee on the road because they couldnt score a couple runs. Hard to see that problem continuing

Its hard for me to to believe that them, vandy, and miss st arent the class of the league. I feel like lemonis has underachieved with that bunch so far
