You DON'T leave a job as a position coach in the NFL to be an "Analyst" in College unless you're TOLD TO LEAVE by the NFL team.

They told him to "Hit the road Jack and don't come Back."

Peyton Manning couldn't get it done at UT and Martin came in the first year after Manning left and won the NC.

The good ole days of not being able to spell Citrus without UT.

You do know both the OC-New HC in Cleveland, and HC are no longer with the Ravens right? How many position coaches are kept when there is regime change?

Arguing with that particular poster is a fool's folly. It isn't worth your time.

They had a mediocre/young OL Manning’s senior year. Him “not getting it done” was really just timing. He carried that team in 97.

Also, Martin’s team had a fricking horseshoe up someone’s arse. That was the luckiest team in the history of football.

I think of little T-Mart in the Chappelle’s Show “trading spouses” sketch.

Your shtick is insanely hilarious and played out, but I'll humor you with what I posted on the front page of TD in the comments...

The Ravens HC was let go, so his guys are gone. While at USC, Martin was the OC with Sam Darnold both years at QB, and as the WR coach through his time with Kiffin, Sark, and Helton. He produced multiple great college and NFL WRs like JuJu Smith-Schuster, Amon Ra St Brown, Nelson Agholor, Marqise Lee, and Robert Woods. He was the QB coach the last 3 years for Lamar Jackson, and Jackson has improved as a top 3 QB because of it. Even last year missing 4 games he had a 3-1, TD to int ratio (21-7) and has averaged 8 yards or better an attempt since Martin has become his QB coach. His ypa average is sitting at 9th all time because of him. Lamar Jackson is currently #1 all time in passer rating because of him.

New coaching group at the Ravens. You don't know what you are talking about. Martin is credited with helping Lamar Jackson mature into an even better qb. I like the hire.

Yes I’m excited to see what he brings to the table. Really hope one of our new QBs has a break out Burrow or Daniels type season.
