Eddie Kennison in the Independence Bowl is one of my favorite childhood LSU memories. The Independence Bowl was a huge deal at that point in LSU history.

Great hire. His punt return against Miss. St. was one of my all time favorites. Paul Dietzel used to say that during Billy Cannon's run he went from yelling "No Billy no" to "Go Billy go". I was yelling the same thing to Kennison that night.

It wouldn’t shock me one bit if O is doing with Shepherd and Kennison what he did with Faulk. Give them a year or two in the program to learn the ropes and then move them to coaching positions that would be able to recruit like no other. I can see Kelvin as the future LB coach and LaCouture taking over DL from Bill Johnson in a couple years.
