Here’s a fresh topic. Take ownership of your life and quit blaming O.

Although granted, he is this cause of world hunger.

No. Covid and woke ess with BLM bullshite set this program back. Fukers like Ryan Clark did not like O.because he did not participate in the Black Lives Matter march on campus. He lost the team at that point. If that would not have happened and Cove it not happen along with losing all the other coaches we would still be competitive even with Orgeron. I think it’s time people stop pointing the finger at Orgeron.

Comically DELUSIONAL. Wokism, the great white boogeyman, has made its appearance.

Bruh, you need to wipe the slate clean and create an alter. You lost all credibility with that foolishness.

That’s so misleading though. If you look at the talent what’s the most important positions in the team? OL, QB, and DL. LSU has failed at 2 out of 3 with O. I think Howard is the future but he’s a RSF

We would be in much better shaped if O had chased offensive linemen like he did pussy.

Wokism is not entirely wrong as an excuse . You should read up on the shite Jacoby Stevens did in the locker room in the aftermath of the march to the admin in 2020. He basically said that he wasn't going to do shite for Orgeron and more than a few agreed with him.

Then the opt outs. By rights orgeron should have had Chase and Marshall for the whole year with a productive Ty Davis Price. What we got was an injured QB, two back ups that were not ready. The best receiver in the country sitting out . Marshall quitting a little more than half way and Davis Price falling forward for 2 yards whenever he got the ball. The only reason Stevens did not sit out was because if he did he would not have been drafted....but he started unnecessary shite. Orgeron made mistakes, no doubt, but don't act like the players did not help this along in 20 which lasts to this day.

I was not a fan of the Kelly hire, but I'm not going to blame him for the current state of affairs on the team.

What total nonsense. This must be one of Coach O's assistants still trying to defend him on the rant. None of that stuff is the reason LSU sucked arse after 2019. It had everything to do with Coach O not giving a shite anymore after winning a title in 2019. He quit doing every single thing that had made 2019 a success and went into full time party mode

It's always nice to blame someone else. Kelly and crew have been here 10+ months. Coach O didn't install this lethargic offense. Coach O isn't starting an unproductive QB. Coach O isn't making bone-head in game decisions.

Coach O did all of that and even more dumb crap. That is why your hero is gone.

We have less than 60 scholarship players available right now.

Facts are any offense would be lethargic with a young O line that has suffered many injuries.

What QB would be productive behind this O line and RB's that are not that good?

What a jackass. Brennan's lack of scrambling would him get sacked 10 times a game. The offensive line is horrible

14 players were also drafted from the 2019 team and Shelvin opted out around the time Chase did. Those were two big players they were counting on. Gilbert was actually productive and was showing promise until he had his mental issues. Throw in the pandemic effecting spring and fall camp for a team with a ton of new starters and a mostly new staff and the 2020 season went about how it should. Compare that to this season and it's hard to say one is acceptable and the other isn't.

Does any of this mean O should have stayed? Absolutely not, because he lost his mind and quit on the team after tasting success. Kelly will right the ship, but that doesn't mean he is above criticism either. The 2021 season is a completely different issue. Once it was clear O had given up the wheels came off.

If Kelly did run off Brennan, he is a fool. JD5 is what he is-a failed QB.

O was hit by several converging circumstances.... First was the National Championship itself... we lost our Seniors and almost all our Junior class because it was time to get paid after that.... no need to stay... it was not going to get better. Then Covid came. LSU was already down to no juniors coming back when Covid took out our best Sophomores, as they elected to sit. So here was O going to battle with the lesser remnants of a couple of classes and the incoming freshmen class. And let's talk about that highly touted Freshman class... a class that we now know was full of head cases and nut jobs. We went and got the mercenaries instead of sticking close to home and getting Bayou Boys. Then we lost Aranda Panda and finally we have something you can hold O accountable for... Bo Pellini. Between Bo's arse chewings and the BLM stuff... the players that remained, checked out. People act like O was the cause... oh no

I tend to agree with this other than the fact that Coach O made some terrible hires his second time hiring. Hiring Ensminger and then Brady were great hires. Ensminger especially. But losing Aranda and wanting to go to a 4-3 when we didn’t have the personnel coupled with hiring Pelini is what killed the program. Losing Aranda, Brady, and Busch, 15 players to the draft, plus Covid started it. It’s not all on Coach O. It was really just a perfect storm. I still believe had he not hired Pelini and stuck with a 3-4 coach, LSU is 5-0 without losses to Mississippi State and Mizzou in 2020 and probably still our coach had that happened and Brennan stayed healthy. Brennan was on pace to throw for 5K yards before he got hurt. No other QB besides Burrow has thrown for more than 3347 in a season.
