With the new transfer portal rules it's pretty dumb to blame the previous coach for obvious coaching issues on the current team. Even if you don't subscribe to the 247 talent rankings, them having LSU at 8 at least shows that this team has enough talent to have a decent team that plays good football.

It's always nice to blame someone else. Kelly and crew have been here 10+ months. Coach O didn't install this lethargic offense. Coach O isn't starting an unproductive QB. Coach O isn't making bone-head in game decisions.

There is no doubt that Coach O had the program heading in the wrong direction. Brian Kelly has been impressive as a talking head but the level of coaching last week was poor and you can’t blame O for that. Special teams is diabolically bad and they aren’t improving. The play calling at the end of the first half still has me baffled. On a positive note LSU had no luck Saturday. The bounce of the ball seemed to favour TN. Fingers crossed we give Florida a football lesson with or without a shoe incident.

O didn't hire Polian or Denbrock, or elect to receive or mismanage every 4th down vs Tennessee

BS! Orgeron is closer to Saban than Kelly.
Proof! When Saban discovered that his Defensive Coordinator was not handling his responsibilities, he fired him immediately and gave the job to a young Linebacker Coach, Muschamp. Then they won a NC.
Orgeron found Cregg was not credible, he fired him and brought in Davis.
Our present Special teams Coach is a disaster as well as the OC.
Time is wasting.

LSU would definitely be better off had they stuck with Myles Brennan. JD has no clue of what he's seeing on the field and the game is much too fast for him.

Its clear that KB is frustrated (as he should be) and is not giving much effort. While I hate to see any kid half-arse it, it's easy to sit here and criticize KBs' lack of effort but he's a young adult that had high hopes of being drafted high. He probably was going to transfer and BK talked him into staying. No doubt BK sold him on being the focal point of the offense and yada, yada, yada.

The fact that the WR group and JD had a meeting shows more than just KB is frustrated. I also believe Bech isn't too happy with Mason Taylor playing a larger role than him. Yes, Bech is a WR but he lined up as a TE often last year. He's also a lot more productive.

If we being honest, let's just admit two things...
1. JD was promised the starting role BEFORE he decided to leave AZ St. where he had been starting for 3 seasons. He cited coming to LSU to take his game to the next level, unlock potential, and IMPROVE HIS DRAFT STOCK.
2. Mason Taylor is only playing as much as he is because of who his father is (Jason Taylor). Pretty sure he would've chosen another school where he was guaranteed an opportunity at early playing time. There is nothing he has shown that explains why he receives as much playing time as he does.

Will BK turn it around.... more than likely. But if we're being honest, he and his staff have made some bad decisions that are hurting this team overall.

I 100% think BK is a very good coach and will not only turn the program around but win a title in the next 3 or 4 years. However, this year is hard to stomach but is simply a part of the process.

No, O fired Cregg for recruiting violations.

And oh by the way, Cregg was awarded $500,000 for wrongful termination.

And oh by the way #2, who was our OL coach in 2019, the year LSU was voted to have the best OL? Cregg!

And oh by the way #3, where is Cregg the OL coach now? San Francisco 49ers.

Orgeron is one of four Head Coaches at LSU to win a National Championship.
Saban won in his 4th year at LSU
Orgeron won in his 3rd year at LSU

Notre Dame has won eleven NCs. Kelly has won 0.

Forget Coach O. Embrace Coach Kelly and his team and recruits.

LSU is climbing out of a hole now because of O.

The Tennessee game was miserable. The way that went down is on these coaches. But that happens to most coaching staffs.

What comes out of that will say much about the program under this leadership.

I am hopeful but then again I am a pumper by nature

No. Covid and woke ess with BLM bullshite set this program back. Fukers like Ryan Clark did not like O.because he did not participate in the Black Lives Matter march on campus. He lost the team at that point. If that would not have happened and Cove it not happen along with losing all the other coaches we would still be competitive even with Orgeron. I think it’s time people stop pointing the finger at Orgeron.
