When ticket prices go up again, remember that it is because Joe Alleva is a fricking clueless moron.

What's your point Ho Ho? Football makes 80-90 million a fkn year...A YEAR! Let that sink in a little then get back to me. Frankly it's a part of doing business. And every business goes through bad decisions that end up costing money. Sometimes those decisions are very costly. Honestly, that's your answer.

that's the way it goes these days man. it's really not that bad considering the revenues at stake if one doesn't make moves. hell, the aggies had to pay 10 million lump sum to get rid of sumlin and do so within 30 days of termination. our with miles is over a 6 year period with offsets if applicable.

think about the aggies new 10 year deal; if fisher lays an egg and they can him after 5 years they still owe him 37.5 million. now that's a buyout.

It’s much cheaper in the long run to pay big money for the right hires that stick around then to go through multiple coaching changes payin off a bunch of buyouts

I think the higher ups should be more concerned with how poor the wasteful spending looks hiring a coach for several million only to fire him in one season and eat nearly 2 million dollars because the HC is too immature to make it work another season. The same HC they hired to replace Miles.

That’s far more disturbing than worrying over hiring an actual innocent guy in Briles bc you are concerned about PR. They should fire Alleva then since he put LSU in this mess and since Alleva forced a Lacross coach to resign over false allegations. Sorry for my Alleva/LSU rant

Washington DC and Louisiana elected officials have been doing it since the New Deal.

Do you realize how fn dumb you sound? Every coach started as an assistant at another position. Nick Saban was a linebackers coach at Kent state. Dabo swinney was a WR coach. O may not be the answer, but to say he isn't because he was a Dline coach is beyond stupidity.

No one knows if this is true. There has been a lot of speculation that Canada wanted out.

You really aren't too bright are you?

The coaches you mentioned were COORDINATORS before they became head coaches. Try to follow this. There is a progression in coaching. The fact a coach is a career position coach isn't bad. Teams need good assistants. Coaches who advance from position coach to coordinator, generally have a talent for X's and O's, and most head coaches were coordinators before landing a HC position. Capiche?

Well that might have been a good thing, unless you have an extra $75,000,000.00 laying around.

Apparently King doesn't care if we spend a billion dollars on coaches

But we can't pay a lot of money for 1 HC because it will look bad.

There's no way anyone can justify keeping Jones another year. Especially with what looks like to be a great hire. Looking back on Miles, they might have well let him finish the year because firing him mid season didn't help Joe' process.
