3rd down D is horrible. We need to get the D off the field every once in a while.

It’s the worst 3rd down defense I’ve seen LSU have in a long time and I’ve had no less than six strokes so far because of it.

Whatever the situation, if it’s 3rd down, LSU will allow the other team to convert.

3rd and 1 or 3rd and 30 — doesn’t matter, LSU gives them the 1st down.

You might even say a major disappointment.

Pretty telling considering we had 3rd and Chavis then 3rd and Steele. Both of those would be an upgrade right now.

The scoring just isn't matching up.

They have scored on 23 of 28 possessions in the last 3 games not including kneel downs with 18 touchdowns.

Not true. Campbell STARTED from day 1. Jones and Mason Taylor were out there super early. Perkins played vs FSU last year and was apparently just a “see ball, get ball” player.

He has shown plenty of willingness to throw freshmen out early when it suits the team. He certainly didn’t wait until the guys above were complete players before rolling them out.

Yes, I am throwing out the Grambling game.

What I was getting at is that the "expected points" based on having 500 yards of offense per game should be higher than the 33 ppg vs FBS competition. I would expect the offense to be scoring closer to 40 ppg. This could be explained by turnovers but they don't turn the ball over much. I think it's attributed to the offense constantly having to drive their way out of bad field position. Takes more yards to get points.

fricking a. Did u just not watch week 1? I want a qb that makes the players around him better. Not the opposite. No more noodle arm.

Did you not watch week 1?

We moved that ball at will and stalled in the red zone dumbass.

We gave up nearly 500 yards of offense in week 1 and you point out the QB as the problem?

I am a big JD fan, but he was a problem in week one. With good QB play we beat FSU even with the drops and bad defense.

Yes, let’s ignore the last three games and only focus on game 1. That seems reasonable

You can have a million yards of offense. It’s points that matter

Six Strokes? Better get some medication man. Life is too short to have a bunch of 20 year olds dictate how long you are on this earth.
