This is what all the Jennings fuss is over. He has potential to be a good QB, but he looked like a 3rd string QB. Good thing he's young and has plenty of time to develop with Cam.
How about we support who's under center?

There are people convinced that if Mett goes down, Jennings will be the guy. Not going to happen.
Let him develop, we have seen what happened when we pushed guys too early.

ummmm considering he's an EE, practicing for about 3 weeks with these guys, and guys getting almost no seperation against our starting rotation, he seems to be doing really good.
I don't want him to start this year, nor do I want him to be first at bat if Mett goes down. My guess though, is that he can beat out Rivers for the backup spot and will probably be starting next year.
At first I thought Rettig would challenge Rivers too, but the change from the spread attack and adjustment in college, will take him longer to process.
