In all honesty, and I don't know if this makes it better or worse lol, but saban wasn't as a good of a coach here as he was post NFL. The part that'll really make you sick is when you stop and remember about the candidates to replace him here...if we hired any of the others besides miles we could have very conceivably been positioned to get saban back. Petrino went to the falcons after 2006 and Nutt would've lost enough that people would've been looking to move on quickly

Michael clayton, hell yeah. Great ballplayer. Played with him in highscbool and againSt marcus spears. Talk about a class. They were championship level talent.
