Hmm...he gave information to you concerning an ongoing investigation? If someone is in the hospital, how is not as bad as we thought? The guy tripped and broke bones in his body?

from what I've heard...some football players were on their way home from the ice cream social at Baptist Campus Ministries when they stopped to help a homeless man who had fallen down. A drunk redneck was trying to get out of the parking lot and didn't want to wait until the homeless man was attended to...he started moving his truck forward so JJ and Josh Downs threw him out of the truck, hit the brakes and stopped it inches away from running over the man and several players. A marine, nearby, rushed to help, but the door of the truck hit him in the face as he approached. He fell down right under the scuffle and JJ accidentally stepped on his head.
We have a winner. Best post in thread award.

What hasnt come up that scares me is the mob mentality that took place. Allen Iverson spent a year in jail because a similiar event happened at a bowling alley when he was in high school. I dont remember the exact charge, but I doubt the district attorney looks at this as a simple assault or battery charge. If there was a player or two who started this whole ordeal, then I wouldnt be surpried to see doing jail time. Unless, of course, some boosters make this all go away which I am sure is the what victims are looking at considering they have lawyered up.

This will go down as one of the better things to happen to the team when we look back on the season. That is if Lester takes this wonderful opportunity to cut out the cancer and give one of his future quaterbacks of promise the keys.

It's a message board dumb arse. This is where we discuss things like LSU football. So if you can't handle the discussion, you can carry your arse out of this thread. Thanks and GFY.

yep, each hour without an arrest looks better and better for the LSU football team

Haha good one. Lee would be the starter, pretty sure he's not a future promising QB here.

I guess the 4 'victims' missed this ESPN article or they would've known better.

The comments aimed at Jefferson didn't go beyond the Internet or talk radio. As far as direct, full-frontal trash talk goes, "I never had a situation where someone came up to me," Jefferson said. Hey, he's 6-foot-5, 224 pounds. Those fans may have been disgruntled but they're not stupid.

I think he was a bad leader becuase at worst he kicked some dude in the head who was already on the ground multiple times.....at best he witnessed some type of confrontational situation that involved the football team......either one he should have stayed away from.....him being at the bar is not the issue hoss.

So he is a bad leader if he witnessed other football players fighting? DUMB! I'd bet my season tickets you did not like JJ before this happened b/c your logic is so fricking stupid that is the only explanation (but I'm sure you will deny hating him).
Signed,
Hoss (I know you're old for even using this word)

Where does this keep coming from. The police reported there were only minor injuries. Four people went to the hospital and left. Quit making up lies.

A bunch of kids got in a fight at a bar. Big whoop.

I think we are loaded at QB so I don't really care at that position but I am very concerned about the other 15-30 players (according to which account is accurate) that may have been there and involved in the brawl. I sure hope that it was a bunch of third teamers...

Regardless of whether or not he kicked this dude, he was out and a bar and involved in an altetcation of some sort...This is not necessarily who I want to be rooting for on Saturdays...
Supposedly Mett, Wing, Mingo and others were involved as well. Does this mean you are gonna switch teams?
