If the guy was trying to get "thru" the crowd...wouldn't his truck be in "Drive"? So "hypothetically" if they "pulled him" from the truck, they also were able to shift the truck to "park" all at the same time?

JJ is a senior in college & the starting qb at LSU, he is dumb to get in a fight with a couple weeks before a game like Oregon!

Or maybe a true team leader and a senior might want to set a better example than being out in a bar at 2 AM during fall camp when your preparing for a game the magnitude of Oregon. Of course that would take a mature leader to make the decision not to be in a bar at 2 AM.

How dare a college kid go out with his teammates/friends the night before a day they have off from practice. Right after finishing fall camp and getting ready to start classes back on Monday. The horror.

It is amazing how many posters are quick to believe stories of the friends that were involved. Until both sides have said what happened why would anyone believe what some random strangers say?
Did JJ allegedly beat up the marine and the driver of the truck?
The driver is the one with the most serious injuries so what player/players beat his arse?
Why are so many posters of the opinion that b/c they are fb players they have no business going to bars? They are 18-22yrs old that is what people that age do. I saw Shaq out all the time and quite a few other athletes back in the day.
Since it isn't ok that athletes go to bars is it ok for anyone on a academic scholarship to go out?
How many of you have actually gone to bars near campus? Is it that hard for you to believe these 4 guys weren't complete douchebags that may have instigated the fight?
Also did the marine know the driver of the truck? I read where somebody said he didn't but if he did know the guys does anyone truly believe he didn't go into it throwing fists?
All the people that are giddy b/c JJ may have done something to be suspended or worse are just idiots. Miles is starting JJ b/c he thinks he is the best QB. Also will yall be happy to find out other starters may be involved and get the same discipline?
Why do any of you think LSU would bail out these guys? If anybody bails them out it would be boosters not the university.

My brother works for BRPD and just laughed at some of the stories on here about what supposedly happened. He said it was no where near as bad as what people are saying and the fact that no one was arrested should tell alot. He then added that they always get a kick out of the things said on this board.

Ok i have been reading this crap all night and finally caught up. First off all you holier than thou rantards talking about JJ beibg such a bad leader cause he is out when there was noscheduled practice need to stfu just cause your were losers and computer nerds in college don't mean mean evrtyone is. All ans I mean all atheletes go out whether before during or after the season. As far as the fight all that has been posted here is he said she said BS. If this is how the investigation goes then they will end up with a slap in the hand be ause of too many different stories. So how bout we all stfu and see whats gonna happen when the real offcers do thier jobs

Good NEWS!
The guys we got in a fight with ended up being Tennessee Fans.
They ended up having too many people on the parking lot and were penalized.
We get a redo and everything is OK!
