Here is a preview of the LSU Depth Chart as of National Signing Day (February 2, 2022).
Incoming transfers are placed above incoming Freshmen.

Don’t be surprised if Perkins makes an immediate impact similar to what “Honey Badger” did his freshman year. Dude has great ball instincts to go along with being a freak athlete

Come on, man. A Honey Badger comparison is not fair to anyone.

Need to add WR Javen Nicholas.

That’s not a bad roster at all. Can definitely win 10 games with better coaching across the board

If we can get a breakout year from Emery and the wide receivers continue to develop, watch out next year. Defense will be much improved, I look forward to seeing what house can do with our linebackers, mainly Perkins, Tolan, and Webb. I think moving back to having standup rushers on the edge is going to help us tremendously

I've got Perkins starting next to WHO? MIKE JONES by about week 5

That’s a good roster if get the right combo on the OL

Me, I think the roster chart looks good for the Tigers, but what do I know, I'm just an optimistic fan. 10-2 or 9-3 or 8-4
Sure would like to know who does know what this roster looks like to them. That is the chart that needs reviews for our fans here on TD.

I'm still hoping that Deion Smith gets his grades in order and is part of the 2022 team.

OM still seems confident that he’s transferring there during the summer when he gets his grades right… so I think Deion is lying to someone.

Damn, what is Todd Harris? Like 30 years old?
Posted on 2/2/22 at 7:10 pm to Scotcho Libre
And still 5 more spots available?

Our D line is going to be so elite

That defense looks strong at DL and LB from a talent and depth standpoint.
Overall Safety talent is questionable, but depth is decent. Corner depth is good, but overall talent questionable.

I will 100% be surprised if any freshman ever has the kind of immediate impact the honey badger did.
Don’t get me wrong, it will surely happen for some school at some point again in the future… but when it does, it will most certainly be surprising. To expect that level of output from any freshman would be crazy.

I'm pretty pumped about this roster TBH. Granted, I liked the roster last year as well, but I feel a lot better about the coaching staff now.
This is going to be a WAY more physical team from top to bottom than what we thought LSU would be last season. I actually really like the OL now, especially once they get committed to a more physical rushing attack. And you've still got elite talent across the board at WR.
Although RB is a little shaky, I'm betting with Kelly, Frank, etc. there will be a lot of growth at the position.
Defensively, I love the idea of a 3 man front of Roy, Guillory, and Smith. Then on 3rd down you've got Gaye, Evans, and Wingo who can all rush the QB.
Baskerville, Jones, Penn, and Perkins are a nice group of LB's, and if Sampah or White finally hit, it could actually be a damn strong group.
I'm not as worried about the secondary from a talent perspective as I am a depth perspective, but if they stay healthy, I think it's a solid group. Not really any true "lockdown" corners ala Stingley/Ricks, but I believe House will run more zone/complex looks to keep QB's off balance. If they can just play sound, physical, make tackles, and not give up big plays, they can be a good unit. Lot of talent at safety/nickel, just have to get the CB's some run in the spring and get them coached up.
Kelly didn't come to LSU just to bullshite around for a few years before he retires, he's going to put out a great product, rebuild be damned. Hopefully these QB's are ready to do big things in '22.
