Why in the wired wouldn’t he retire?

He’s 76 wins away from topping Bryant’s win record. That’s why.

Saban has Bama on autopilot

Literally....he didn't even show up to one of the games this year and bama still rolled

And the recruiting classes just keep rolling. Bama's a juggernaut and Saban really has no reason to leave. Hell, if they win this year, it'll just make him more motivated to keep cranking out wins.

I will watch the NC game and just hope for a great game. It would be fun to watch Saban win another, because it's something rarely achieved.

I remember back when Saban first went to Bama. Not many thought that he would be able to accomplish what he's accomplished, but, speaking for myself, I knew this was going to happen.

Saban recently told people he sees himself coaching another 8 to 10 years.

I think the way to get him out earlier is start losing, not winning more. But doubtful that happens.

If you're not rooting for the plane to crash en route, you're doing it wrong.

The only time that I ever pulled for Bama was during the Shula years. When they weren't a factor in anything.

The last time I rooted for Bama was the 92 National championship game because I hated Miami!! That will be the last time I ever root for Bama. They kept us from winning or competing for at 3-4 Nattys in the past 50 years. Saban ain't retiring till he like Joe Paterno old!

If Bama wins the National Championship will Saban retire and go out on top?
He missed a game with covid, and the comments afterwards were that he realized how much he missed being on the sidelines.

He's not going to retire.
