Daniels has a ceiling . Admit it .

Whoever is hating on Howard is a moron of epic status.
I can understand why some people are having a knee jerk reaction regarding Nuss but I’m not in that camp.
IMO it’s JD’s job until it isn’t…..whether he gets beat out in spring or moves on or graduates.

I loathe you and your pathetic logic. Rebel scum!

pretty much agree . Maybe the Michigan vs OSU game got him thinking … The perennial underdog won by slinging it !!

Little quiz for you, shouldn’t be too hard:
Who saw that we needed a kicker and a QB, so went and convinced Tracy and Burrow to move hundreds of miles to play here? Especially the latter, to the graveyard of quarterbacks.
Who kept guys like Jefferson, Chaisson, and Delpit in the fold after the coaching change, and landed Chase, Stingley, Marshall etc?
Who brought in Brady, and paired him with a veteran playcaller in one of the most unconventionally successful setups ever?
Now, who also made a bunch of boneheaded decisions in 20 and 21, chiefly Pelini? But I still think he had earned the right to try to fix things.

The best passing threat rode the bench all year until the last game and lit up the #1 defense for 300 yards and 2 TDs in a half.
Two turnovers as well. And do you not understand that for at least half of that second half that the backups were in? He wasn’t playing the number one defense. He was playing the backups.

You’re flat out lying. On one of the bombs he buzzed it right by Keely Ringo. The starters were in (now they rotate a lot on the DL but they’re not “backups”) and they were playing our receivers tight.

Well he is the head coach of a team that in the 13th game of the season let a blocked field goal sit on the field for like 5 seconds while the kicking team walked off and the defensive team picked up and ran for a touchdown so I'm gonna have a few reservations. BK has done a good job but that one is tough to swallow especially considering how poor ST's had been.
We will only contend with a great QB and I appreciate all Daniels did but it does remain can he see the field better?
Had we been only a touchdown underdog in the SEC championship game the returned block field goal would have been one of LSU's epic failures. We forgive it so easy because of how much we lost by but when it happen the game was still up for grabs.

How did the perpetual #2 Michiganders beat OSU ?? Not by running , by slinging it .

Excellent point, OP.
People seem to have forgotten just how bad Orgeron had let things go, this place was an absolute dumpster fire.
Kelly basically had to burn it down and start over. Going into the season, we all seemed to agree that 8-4 (and no relevance in the conference race) would be a nice success, and we hoped for that.
When we lost to Florida State in the opener, the realistic number to hope for was 7-5. Overcoming adversity against Miss State and at Auburn (a couple of underwhelming foes that gave us all we could handle) seemed like they would be the highlights for the year. That was reinforced when Tennessee beat our doors off. We were years away from competing at the higher levels again.
Then something happened, and we reeled off a few wins in a row, including taking down Alabama. And before you say "they're down", they're not if they beat us... they are probably in the playoffs.
And suddenly, because we took the lead in the West (actually probably simply because we did beat Bama), a bunch of people got excited and forgot who this team was. Got mad when we didn't demolish Arkansas on the road (consider, that was originally going to be a likely loss, and a GOOD win if we got it). Got more mad when we slipped up at A&M (again, probably counted as a loss going into the year, and now they were desperate to have one good game in a season that went sideways for them).
Now they hate the coach because of that, because we lost to Georgia, because he dared to stay with the QB who got this team to Atlanta.
You just have to take a few steps back, and realize this team played over it's head for half the season. And is laying the foundation for things to come. We're in good shape and ahead of schedule, folks. This was never going to be our year.

This is true, but Saban let the kick6 happen like he didn’t even know it was even possible to run a field goal attempt back. Bama didn’t rush after the return guy at first either. Those type of plays just don’t happen often. It sucks. It’s stupid. But because they don’t happen, teams think less about them and certainly don’t really practice for them. Unfortunately this time, we were the ones caught with our dick in our hands.

Daniels never developed into a passing threat,
He was tearing up UGA's defense until his injury prevented him from continuing.
LSU had UGA on the ropes until the ST fricked everything up.

Starters may have been in, but none of them were playing as aggressive being up by 25 points. They knew that game was well in hand. It was obvious after the first quarter they outmatched us. Hell it was obvious to most of us we had about a 5% chance of winning that gane at best. We just didn’t have the players they did.

He actually was moving the ball pretty well. I’ve been a supporter of his all season and honestly he was moving it better than I expected against them. I was actually shocked.

This Ellis Hugh guy is doing his best to supplant them all as King of the Rantards.

I know more than Kelly, and Nuss needs to start the bowl game
