Yes I paid a ridiculous amount for the BCS game last year, but I haven't missed an LSU postseason game in 13 years.

your obsession with bowl games is eerie. You were the one promoting the Cotton bowl forever and you would probably be saying the same thing about that bowl if that was where we were going. I don't miss any road or bowl games, but I know I'm not going to convince one person to go by promoting the bowl in every thread like you are.
imo, the capital one bowl is much better than the chicken bowl.

Probably so, although I don't like the Cotton as much as the Peach.

I disagree ... Cap1 gametime sucks (1pm day game), matchup against Big10 sucks, stadium sucks, Orlando is too spread out (I like Atlanta and New Orleans where opposing fans are all mixed together downtown) ... That said, the weather in Orlando is usually better for all the days leading up to the game and it's a more "prestigous" game in the SEC bowl pecking order.

not sure yet. I'm sure we'll find out sometime this week when LSU assigns the season ticket holders tickets. I'm hoping I'm in the lower level but don't really care either way, there's not a bad seat in the GaDome

I really like the Ga Dome. The 2001 SEC CC vs Tenn was my favorite all time game i attended. Went to the Clemson Peach Bowl, too. I really enjoy this trip. I'll try to find good tickets and go again.

speaking of the 2001 sec championship game...I was on the field for that game working security...and about got pelted to death with sugar cubes. Seems like the Tenn fans had orange roses and the tigs had sugar cubes. How was it that Tenn was going to the rose bowl if they won that year?

Because that's where the national championship game was and Tennessee was #2 in the BCS standings.
