Right. It's Sunday night. Some people need to drive back to Lafayette or New Orleans. Losing sleep is not worth it if we get our arse kicked in a pathetic effort.

1 run at a time. Just need some quality pitching for a few innings

LSU can't even do that.

Stony Brook's game plan. Let a runner get on first and then throw him out at second. LSU falls for this trick every freaking time

We have terrible fans. On here and in real life.

Truth. They are first to bitch and whine, shite their pants in fear, an leave when things are bad.

That's fine, but then they need to stop promoting this "best fans in the country" bullshite.

I've never left a game in my life, and usually look down on people who do. But when the team and coaches have so clearly rolled over and quit, it's hard to blame those who vote with their feet.

No one said it did. It's a sport people watch for entertainment, not a religious cult. If people want to leave, then by all means.

I agree. Being a douchebag is not against the law.

We've almost invariably had the best attendance in America for decades. We have rowdy fans in our own stadium and dominate Omaha when we get there. I doubt there's anyone better. It's just sports dude.

I would have left too. The defense has quit. No one is playing with any heart.

Stony Brook is hitting absolutely everything

If I didn't know any better, they've quit.

I wish some of these assholes had the balls to tell our players and coaches to their faces that they think they've quit

Some of the "fans" are fricking pathetic

Stony Brook is knocking the cover off the ball. Being aggressive at the plate and making things work while LSU sits and takes 2-1 pitches and/or pops up to shallow outfielders. Nothing is dropping.

Defense is playing ridiculously nonchalant and it shows.

If they come back to win, good for them but at this moment in time, they are playing with no urgency whatsoever. Clear sign of frustration and lack of interest.
