of course not, when you hire O it is as low as it can get.....unless we hire Curley back on as AD.

We had a pretty meh team this year and took advantage of a historically weak SEC. Literally half the teams were in absolute meltdown. The others have righted the ships with some really good hires.

If State can hold it together after Mullen left we may be playing at Aggie with a 5-6 record. So, no we arent making a playoff run.

Facts aren't bashing.

Why should we be on anyone's radar for making the playoffs next year?

People will get mad but they're not willing to make a playoff declaration and stick by it.

They don't want those types of expectations for Orgeron to be solidified, because they have no real excuse when he doesn't live up to it.

thats fine.

the fact of the matter is, its hard to make it to the playoffs.

you can win your conference (hello USC) and get left out.

you can go undefeated (hello UCF) and get left out.

you can be the bluest of bluebloods (hello Ohio St.) and get left out.

couple that with the fact that Orgeron has shown that he cannot beat a team more talented than his team (LSU is objectively more talented than auburn this year) at any point in his career, be it at Ole Miss, USC, or LSU thus far, means the odds simply are not in his favor. thats why I don't mind giving 2:1 odds.

Expectations should be playoffs for every team but the reality of everything is there can only be 4 teams in the playoffs.

There will be at least one team from the SEC West will be in the playoff talks next year and I hope that it is LSU. There is your declaration.

Yeah.

All one of you has to do is put your money where your mouth is, and say we'll be in the playoffs next year. Even the most dedicated propagandist, Space Cowboy, won't do it.

I don't see what's the problem. We got rid of Miles, we've replenished the lines with an amazing recruiting class. Year two of Canada, we comin.

You people that believe this are an absolute cancer. Welcome to “most worthless piece of sh1t on this board” status.

your misery caused by coach O being the head coach of the LSU Tigers brings me great pleasure and joy.

And the sad thing is you think this makes you a good fan. It makes you a miserable a-hole. And an idiot. Seriously, DIAF you prick.

They will be mentioned as a dark horse and will be ranked higher than you think. Will Grier will be the top returning QB in the Big 12. He got hurt towards the end of the year and they tanked, but it won't take much for him to be mentioned on Heisman lists.

Nah, misplaced hostility for Bee and LNCHBOX because Miles is gone... can't hero worship Orgeron like they did with the previous coach.

Doesn't make the article less true for leaving LSU off though. Orgeron still has alot to prove.

shite man, every LSU fan hopes for that.

But being honest, we don't make them. You might as well admit it. We all know it already. Hell, we will be lucky to reach 9-3 again.

Have you read you post and looked in the mirror?

I hope LSU never loses another game. That includes while O is coach.

If that were true, Coach O would be here forever, which would make me very happy and you very miserable.

Why would any LSU be miserable if LSU won every game? Weren't you one of the guys that was miserable because Les wasn't losing enough to get fired?

That's right facts or facts except for you when it comes to O, then you intentionally ignore or distort all the facts.

Put out whatever agenda you want, but at lease he didn't produce a historic defeat to a mediocre Mississippi State or get his arse handed to him by a fricking SBC team.

As I recall, Auburn was a 7 point favorite...at LSU. It had the better QB, the better RB (Guice was not 100%) and the much better OL.

That's a crazy conclusion. The Auburn win was a legitimate upset. You took a reasonable position (LSU won't make playoffs under Oregon) and justified it with an obviously flawed argument.
