Bo was a VERY good DC.

But I think he had better overall talent.

Bo never had to coach a game with 4 total DL.

Plus the SEC has much better offenses now.

Top to bottom. The spread finally arrived.

Bo and Chablis had more 1st rounders on their lines than Aranda us had Draftpicks.

Aranda hasn’t had a DL that got drafted in the first 2 rounds.

2018 Aranda had possibly the best defensive player to be at LSU, and two other All Conference guys....and was only a little better than Steele and no where near as good as the worst Chavis defenses.

Surely you can’t be that stupid in not knowing OT is set up to give offenses a HUGE advantage. You aren’t that stupid right?

That scoring offense ranking in 2018 can almost exclusively be attributed to Cole Tracy.

The A&M game would definitely be a statistical Outlier.

Say what you will about the talent on the 2018 team we lacked depth at CB and DL, OLB

Top end players were great but we had almost no quality backups as multiple positions.

That was surprising to me. Better than I thought with only 3 players returning on offense who had started before with some of them being injured. With NO skill position players who had started before.

To be fair Aranda took over a team very depleted at DL

He had 11 guys to play 3 spots. Linebacker was thin, but very talented with white, Alexander, riley, beckwith, divinity.

Why didn’t fat arse recruit dlinemen and let the ones he inherited leave?
Why didn’t you use the average scoring to move the stats or include the offensive stats each year.

What this tells me is that over the last dozen years Stud was our best OC. Let that sink in.

I really hope Aranda starts putting out defenses like he did at Wisconsin...I guess they had more nfl talent

McMahon decision to let Giles return that fricking punt and approval by O.

If Giles doesn't fumble that mf'er, we win regulation.

If I had to pick one college defense in history to win a game it would be 2011 LSU.

Auburn had much better defensive line talent.

We also gave up two desperation completions. One on 4th and 19 the other a 19 yarder for a TD as the clock expired.

On that same drive we dropped an INT and committed a personal foul as well. It should never have happened.

The game was literally the perfect storm of events for A&M to win, it literally took several acts of God for them to come away with the win that day, couldn't believe it.

Absolutely frustrating. I've never seen anything like it.

Defense did make some plays, most were negated.
