I was arguing with a chump on here earlier today, who is still spouting off about how smart he is. It’s in their DNA and they can’t help but try to be the smartest person in the room. They have no shame.

I thought they'd tell LSU to eat it for at least another year.

You don't get blowed out at home in year 4 and keep your job. If we didn't fire him the program would have been set back to where he started. Too much money in a successful program to keep a bad coach around.

Me, I’ll own it. Never thought we would/could come up with the money. Always thought the season would have to be a disaster; finish with a losing record in conference. You feel better?
Yes. tired of all the poors around here with their woe is me we’re poor narrative. It wasn’t that difficult to come up with the money. We were already on the horn pooling all the dough we needed last night immediately after BKs collapse and went into the negotiations today prepared.

Those acting like LSU can’t compete in the NIL era are self loathing losers.

I didn’t think we would want to do it. Glad we did and it made sense. He was negatively affecting the brand of LSU.

I was of that opinion. Of course it sounds like they negotiated a much smaller number.

he will not come even close to getting that much, maybe not even 10% of it. Morals clause and LSU had it all the time.
Affair with his realtor, DD Breaux's daughter, and everyone knew about it. He filed for divorce because of it in 2023.

I couldn't fathom that LSU would pay someone that much not to coach. Happy to be wrong l, especially after Ole Miss, Vandy and A&M.

I’ll admit I said it. Seemed like it wouldn’t be feasible with the amount of money involved, the lack of a University President, and I thought Woodward would not be willing to admit his failure.

Apparently, I was wrong and I think the raising of the price of tickets, etc. over the last couple of days along with some pressure from boosters had a lot to do with it.

That was never your contention before. Ever.

My initial point is directed at stupid posters like you.

You towed a line over and over and now that something different happened, you crawfish just like the person you are.

They can’t, which is what it is still being negotiated.

They can if they have to. They wouldn't have terminated him.

They are working him down because of how he shite the bed. It's also good business.

What’s really amazing is that it was the same narrative that was pushed about McMahon!
