Pathetic.

Hell, LSU probably has more fans in Omaha now than they do...

Sucks that UCLA brought a much better team than LSU did though.

Agreed. Their pitching is sick...you'd think they would have a stronger following.

I am amazed to hear that they have only been to Omaha 3 times. Pathetic for a school with UCLA's resources and recruiting region.

I was suprised to hear that as well. I know USC is the dominate baseball force in LA and tons of smaller, surrounding schools have a great baseball tradition (Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton, Pepperdine, etc.), but I still thought that UCLA would have been there a few more times than that.

You forgot U of California Irvine.

Also, UCLA has to get past Az State, CAL-Berkeley and Stanford in regional or super regional play.

Yes indeed. It's the best group of pitchers I've seen in several years. I think the Bruins are going to win it all.

There's a reason why those schools on the west coast have small baseball stadiums.
I was at Stanford last summer for work and was very surprised at the small seating capacity of their stadium, given their baseball tradition. Not that it wasn't nice; just small.

Do LSU baseball fans leave during the seventh inning stretch to beat traffic, or if the baseball team is winning by more than seven runs or so? Or is the fans leaving just a football thing?
