This type of injury is a result of poor mechanics. Does anybody else find it a coincidence that our pitching goes to shite and two of our pitchers get injured in the same year??? No this is a result of GREWE not being an actual pitching coach and being able to correct errors in mechanics

Baloo--I cannot totally disagree with your opinion of letting your best hitter swing away with a runner in scoring position...BUT being down by 1 late in a ELIMINATION game against good pitching with runners on 1st and 2nd w/ no outs it is a no brainer bunt situation. There are a multitude of ways to score from 3rd w/ 1 out without getting a hit. Not to mention that it takes the breaking ball in the dirt out of play. PM's "gambles" are starting to get old and when they do succeed he is not a genius he is lucky. Coaches should put their players in a situation to succeed and 2nd and 3rd with one out is a much more successful situation then 1st and 2nd with 1 or 0 outs
