They can’t even control the crime on game day and they’re trying to raise ticket prices on top of a lame duck coach? Get real LSU so tone deaf, but all of Louisiana leadership is so not surprising

Impeccable timing by our esteemed board of supervisors! They need to take the extra income and hire more security for when we go three and out on our first possession tomorrow.

No sports entity collegiate or pro should be able to increase prices unless they make the playoffs the previous season.

they are pricing out the real fans with this BS which is why you see the stadium half empty in the 3rd quarter of one score SEC games

It also has to do with the current state of the team.

Don’t blame LSU. This is what college football is now the players are getting paid football is the only true revenue source in the entire athletic department. At some point the market will correct itself I feel like college football is a worse version of the NFL now

CFB (LSU specifically) is just as expensive if not more so than the NFL (esp for the saints since we are so bad this year)

That makes zero sense.

In your example, that would mean they were present in Q1 and Q2.

Present = paid tickets

Premium seating areas will see the largest increases, with West Clubs rising $100 per seat and Low West Box and Low East Box sections increasing $125 each.

East Sideline sections will increase between $50 and $125, while West Sideline sections will see increases of $25 to $100.

End zone seating will have more modest increases, with North End Zone sections rising $100 and South End Zone sections increasing $100.

Am I missing something. Why is end zone more modest at $100 increase when everyone else is just about the same. Are some areas per game or something not stated in the article?

If they want us to pay even more $, there better be a significantly better product on the field in 2026.

2014 vs Bama was also excruciating. Jennings being 8/26 and constantly making the wrong decisions in a game LSU should have won

Timing of this couldn’t be worse… but typical Louisiana politics. They know we are dumb enough to keep paying despite the crap they are putting out on the field

Or what? I’m not trying to be flippant or argumentative about your statement. The reality is the product can be shite next year, too, and the piper is already paid.

This cycle only changes via regulatory action or fans finally saying enough and not paying.

The schools are getting more money than ever because of broadcasting contracts, and it’s STILL not enough. Coaches contracts are another driver of the issues.

So basically, LSU is telling us to stay home. It’s going to be a half a grand or more just to attend a game now. And that’s not including concessions. Stupid has befallen LSU football.
