Will be a year that no one will ever forget! I just hope it didn't ruin us in thinking it will always be like that

Stay safe all

And got every single one of those teams best shot. Last year was an anomaly I don't think any of those top tier teams we played could have went undefeated with that schedule

That was remarkable! If you had written that narrative, complete with Heismans, Thorpes, Biletnikoffs, Moores, and passing and scoring records, you would have been dismissed as a fantasist.

BTW, the best part about the OP was the lack of a mention of aTm!

Since 200, All of this teams (except UGA....) have won national championships. Bama and Clemson had won the last four.

5 of those teams finished in the AP Top 10. Four of these made up the Week 1 Top Four.

11-2 (Bama)
11-2 (Florida)
12-2 (Oklahoma)
14-1 (Clemson)
12-2 (Georgia)

60-9 (LSU was 5 of those loses)

8-5 (Texas)
9-4 (Auburn)

Especially if it was written the week after the Troy loss

9-4 (Auburn)

Left out Florida in the list of records. They were 11-2 and only lost to LSU and Georgia

Auburn's 4 losses were to Georgia, LSU, Florida, and Minnesota in a bowl game by a combine total of 28 points.

Those were all REALLY good teams that LSU beat.

I’m not sure any other team in history can make a claim like this.

agreed. But one game people forget about, where I think O somehow flipped the switch, was Auburn, 2 weeks after Troy.

We were at home and down 20-0 in the second quarter. I recall thinking we were going to get blown out by Auburn at home, and the season would be lost and O would get fired.

But somehow O turned it all around, right there in the 2nd quarter against Auburn. To me, that was the most important 2.5 quarters in his career, and it’s mostly forgotten.

This year is literally like all of those years that I would have in that NCAA Football game.

You would make your own schedule, dominate all of the top teams while putting up record numbers on your way to an undefeated national championship, your players would all win the major awards, your coach would win COY.

God I miss that game, but this season did not feel real, I hope this feeling never dies.

On a good NC run you usually might beat 3 top 5 teams

WE BEAT 7
