He didn't need to give a multi year contract to Mac. There are plenty of unemployed basketball coaches with Mac's resume. There are probably posters who could match Mac's record.

Just want to point out that Murray State has always been good long before McMahon was there. In fact he arguably under achieved compared to his predecessors. I saw a stat where they only had 1 losing season in the last 20 years and it was under McMahon.

No way he gets another year, this is just completely unacceptable and having a losing program this close to the women’s program probably doesn’t make Mulkey happy either.
If LSU and Woody is smart you take complete advantage of the fact that basketball is obviously popular with our fans and you just need to have a young up and comer who doesn’t demand big money until he proves something.
Someone who can actually collaborate with Mulkey on X’s and O’s.
There is zero chance that Mulkey approves of this losers style in any way other than maybe being a good guy but time to cut bait. Like now.
