LSU basically has to sweep a weekend series without Lange

We can look at this is a Th/Fr/Sa series where LSU HAS to sweep, yet without our best starter.
Series we have swept this year:
Feb 13-15: Kansas
Feb 20-21: Boston College
Feb 27-28: Princeton
Mar 6-8: Houston Classic
Apr 2-4: Alabama
May 8-10: Missouri
TCU will either throw their #2 in Alexander or their "best" stats guy in Traver who has a 1.60 ERA and a WHIP under 1.00
Vandy will have Buehler (Fri) and Fulmer (Sat).
We have a very steep hill to climb here.

Don't worry, Mainieri will set the lineup just right for the occasion.

Let's just take it one game at a time.

Both TCU and Vandy are really deep. We've put ourselves in a very difficult position. If we're fortunate enough to get 13 hits again we need to score more than 5.

Just have to worry about defeating TCU. Even though they are very good Beuler and Fulmer have been hit a couple of times with a similar offense in AtM hurting Fulmer in the SEC tourney. Tigers will have to win with hits and most importantly timely hits.

The Tigers just need to remember that there is somewhere between no and six tomorrows depending on results.
That's how you rally your troops.

The offense will have to explode over the next 3 games. They are actually due to catch fire, but I still don't like their plate discipline and approach, particularly in clutch situations.

I do believe we barely won game 1 of the 2012 super regional IN BATON ROUGE the went on to lose the next two to Stoney Brook. Stoney fricking Brook.
Steeper hills have been climbed faster. We got this!

Stevenson needs to lay off the inside stuff. He's been frustrating to watch the last month.
As folks said, we have decent pitching in the pen, but ... runsupportrunsupportrunsupport!

All we have to do is score at least one more run than the other team and we will win.

yup, as far as I'm concerned, Hawthorne has 5 more games to call.

they pulled this off in the SECt in 09. But, not against this kind of pitching.
