I know we have a well-deserved statue for Skip, but which player would you choose for LSU’s first statue?

Is Big Ben the unanimous choice? Eddy Furniss?

Anyone else you would even consider?

Joey Belle strangling that red neck Mississippi State fan beyond the right field fence!

Maybe have the statue inside the playing field, but climbing up the wall to attack a racist fan.

Ben kind of got the ball rolling early for us and he probably deserves one more than anybody but I wouldn’t be shocked if Bregman got one at some point. If he ends up in MLB HOF bet he gets one with all the publicity he gets at the school.

I don’t know, McDowell did a lot.

All seriousness, it’s Walker, Furniss and McDonald and then the rest. Pick any one of the three for a statue and it makes sense.

I think if they had won a championship during his tenure, that Antoine Duplantis would be high on the list for some. I know Big Ben didn’t win one but he was the number one pick and continues to be a part of LSU with some baseball tv.

No LSU player more deserving (nor decorated) as much as Ben McDonald
