LSU should have done this quietly. Don't be surprised if it's worse for the ATM game now that they are all going to be pissed off screaming racism.
Who gives a frick about anyone screaming racism at this point? It’s a complete joke and used as an excuse to let certain people run wild and frick everything up

Pretty sure we ran a chain from PFT to that field and back. Many numbers were fudged that day
For sure if you used the old transits.

I love how they say they will kick people out who have loud music but they blare that awful loud rap music in the stadium.

Couldn’t agree more.
They call 2+2=4 racist now, so frick it.. just do what’s necessary and who gives a shite.

I disagree. When somebody gets shot -- whether it's self inflicted or by another person -- quietly is not in play anymore.
Frick their feelings.

*There is not an insignificant number of people who go to campus with ZERO intention of attending the game. They like to call themselves "tailgaters". But they are really just loiterers. And it's people of ALL races of ALL socioeconomic statuses. Unless they paid for a parking pass, them being on campus adds ZERO value to LSU other than more congestion and more of a hassle to the actual ticket holders. Eventually, the ticket holders, who do contribute financially to the event, will get tired of the hassle and stop attending.*
Tailgaters not attending the game use up free parking spaces so that people with tickets that arrive late have to park in BFE. I park in Lot 108 and it is crazy how many people are leaving campus 1.5-2 hours before kickoff to get home or to the bar to watch the game.

The problem is, where are they going to go from U-Na'Tay Field?

That “group” tailgate on “Unity Field” happens every homecoming. It’s the one game day a year where it gets wild over there.
We tailgate across the street by the Ag Center. In the past, yes it was always just for Homecoming. This year it's been packed for several games.

Man, I didn’t know that was where the incidents were. I figured the problems were trickling in from da Nort.

maybe they should consider doing something more private in the future , Bracelets or tickets like a lot of tailgates already do on campus
Even if you secured the perimeter and made it a ticketed event, people would still linger near.

Props to Governor’s Office, State Police and LSU for listening to the citizens and fans.

What bothers me is they were blocking the street and sidewalks in front of Chimes and the police did nothing about it. Like others have said I’m sure the Chimes and other businesses in the area lost a ton of business that night.

I bet everything on the East side of Highland on campus will become paid parking. Law School, Uhigh, Urec, Ag Center, etc..
You really can’t do that. Those areas are mainly student residential overflow parking areas. There’s no way to tell how many students will be in those areas on any given game day. If they were to make that paid parking, they would have to guarantee a spot. Can’t be done.

The amount of weed smoking on campus for gameday is out of control! USCe game was especially bad. For me, nothing ruins a beautiful gameday walk through campus than the constant skunk smell. It seems an easy situation to address by the campus police.
I also wish they could do something about the vaping in the stadium during the game.
