He's Ok but I do find him a bit phony. Some of his excited calls seem rehearsed like he's been waiting to use the line/term.

this is so over blown it's ridiculous. All the people that bitch about this must have never gone to a game and stood up on a fly ball thinking it was gone and it was just a routine fly ball.

I don't mind him at all. I listen to quite a bit of baseball when I'm working on projects on the weekends this time of year. It's not as overall distracting as a podcast while providing a nice mental break when something big is happening. Blair is frankly above average compared to many other programs.

No Energy??

Come on bruh!! You guys are fkn nuts man. His best calls were the CWS in ‘23. He has all kinds of energy. Chris Blair call of that walk off was nothing short of greatness. Way better to watch the game and listen to him.

The enthusiasm and passion in Jim’s voice over the radio when LSU did something good outweighs any mistakes he might’ve said or didn’t say from time to time. Jim was a true die hard LSU fan and could get you amped up like no else could over the radio when LSU would break a long run or TD in football or hit a big HR in baseball.

Jim Hawthorne was good but too much rhetoric and histrionics, great for basketball but not baseball.

I loved his basketball broadcasts, particularly the way he said the words CHARGING! and TRAVELED!!

You people are insufferable with this over and over again.

HAWTHORNE COULDN'T SEE ANYMORE OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS AND MISSPOKE DOZENS OF TIMES.

I get y'all are obsessed with tradition and hate change (except for LSU head coaches) but give it a break. Don't listen. Go outside and spend some fricking $ and actually attend the game.

What a whiny bitch.

One of my all time fav Jim lines.

Hawthorne made me want to commit suicide when LSU was losing in any sport

John Ferguson still the GOAT
