Prepare to be disappointed with the next LSU coach hire. All the good options out there are either not coming or we will end up overpaying for an unproven college head coach like Aranda or Mel Tucker.

You dumb fricks will soon be begging for Coach O to come back. Stop the fricking witch hunt.

No way they beat Bama but they could upset Ole Miss, Ark or Texas A&M but even then they are not winning all three of those games either

Unlikely but that's why you lace em up and play on Saturdays. Anything can happen.

you can't be reasonable with these dumb rantards. Woodward did not handle this the right way and if O pulls off some upset victories down the stretch, Woodward is really going to look like an idiot.

The problem is if the program is where we want it to be the only game on the schedule that would be considered an upset would be Alabama.

We've dropped 3 games to teams with less talent already. That's why he is gone.

We played a ten game season with covid rescheduled games and we started true freshmen at QB. If we add the Ooc 3 games we’re 8-5. Which is totally in line with regular expectations.

For anyone still sucking off Woodward, LSU fired a coach still in title contention and put launched a smear campaign that the players have just exposed.

Les had one sec loss that was stolen by the refs. He was in title contention too.

We’re you standing up to keep him too?

At LSU you compete for national championships. Not SEC championships.

Woodward posted the pictures of the Ogre and the Princess naked in the bed all over social media?

O slandered himself, he didn’t need any help.

Any chance you do motivational speaking? Just wondering if I could have you come give an inspirational talk to our organization.

You can spin this anyway you like. If you look at all of the details you can see that this was the right decision. Ogeron lost his focus and the program was not headed in the right direction. I think that anyone, who can take off their purple and gold glasses and look at this objectively, would see that there were a series of questionable decisions and a loss of control. He did not show, to me, that he had a vision and was building a championship program. I hate it for him. I really do. I like Coach O and hoped he could be there winning Natty's for a long time. Unfortunately he got caught up in the whirlwind.

I trust the next coach will be well researched, thoroughly vetted and will carry a level of professionalism that will return LSU to a consistent position among the top of the Power 5 programs. No more up and down seasons. Consistency is what is needed and that is what the next coach needs to bring. Based on your doom and gloom comments I assume that you didn't notice the baseball and women's basketball hires. Take a look at the leaders that Woodward brought in over there and then apply that against your pessimism and see how it holds up.

Take a breath dude. Woodward knows the importance of this selection and I have confidence he will get it right.

One helluva correct post sir.

It’s absolutely true. We have 2 SEC losses. Bama and Auburn each have 1.

We need Auburn to get to 3 since they have the h2h tiebreaker, but Bama only needs to lose to us.

Why would Auburn need to lose twice. If they lose to Alabama wouldn't the h2h cancel out?

Have you not been paying attention to Mashburn and TDP?! It absolutely could happen. Or we beat everyone else and lose to Arkansas. That also could happen

Haha the 2nd option 100% proves you're a real tiger fan who knows LSU football. Only at LSU could both of those options be realistic

Saw where if LSU wins out (I know, I know) and Auburn loses to Alabama and either Texas A&M or Ole Miss, the Tigers win the West. Would that not be a fitting way to end this insanity that is the 2021 season?

This.
After 2007, we went 3-5 in the SEC, but finished above .500 with the ooc.

8-5 is not totally in line with expectations.

And I’ll throw it out there again. Then we fired Les coming off a 10 win season because a game got canceled.

So there, our expectations are not 8-5.

None of you idiots are making a good point to keep Ed.

And in 2009, we were 9–4 (5–3 SEC). Will we have a comparable record this season? You're the weirdest O sycophant.
