It’s a sign of the times. Pitchers are throwing harder than ever at young ages. Their arms are not built for that amount of stress.

I think Herring is already a dude. So is Guidry. Buckman may be too. Crazy, but this season may wind up depending on a few freshmen stepping up and being our most dependable pen arms.

I had given up on even seeing Moffett again this season after his last outing, but as hard as he throws, it may be time—not this weekend, this time in the season—to ramp up his development and see if he can be a guy to get a weekend out or 2.
