Not to worry guys. JimTiger said we’re going to win 7 games in January.

Good hard fought game on the road. Now let's hope Thomas gets healthy.

The biggest win of the season for Jim, Pirate and puffspeter was NC State losing today.

I hate to blame a loss on a true freshman playing more minutes than he should have to.

I agree, it may not have come out that way. Just the DJ is much better than anyone else at PG.

Yeah, until that weird two minute sequence at the end, I was actually happy with how King and Reece handled the press. CMM should’ve switched to King after the second TO. Reece looked a little rattled.

But imagine if King had made that two at the end. This game came down to just little plays like that.

I don't understand how we weren't able to get easy baskets after beating the press.

We had them outnumbered almost every time but we would just pull up and set up with 13 seconds left.

You have the numbers, push it to the basket quick.

With DJ back LSU will probably beat Vandy, Kentucky, Florida and Arkansas.

[quote]But Reese did a decent job for much of the game, though he had some costly turnovers.[/quot

It’s a shame he had a rough last couple minutes. He competed his arse off and had to deal with a full court press the entire game, without any real ball handling help for him.

I dunno, King showed some toughness on the press. He was willing to body up to those guys and move north instead of getting trapped.

Good effort shorthanded.
Defense was good, which kept them in it.
Reece much better in the second half…but 3 killer TOs in the final 2:30
McKinnon was really good.
Sutton gave you nothing.
Good play to get a great look at the buzzer

Ultimately, LSU just wasn’t clutch enough when they HAD to have it.

I think we can get to .500

But we need Thomas and someone needs to rebound. McMahon’s teams seem to lack grit and toughness. It’s a fact.

That’s a great recap. I just wish we knew what was going on with Sutton.

I was listening to the game until halftime. And I was thinking to myself that if we could hold them to four made threes in the second half we could get it done. Tigers really did play the game that they wanted to against A&M except ….

Freaking 16 TOs.

I also think Max had a point about the press. Did anyone notice that the ref was quick to instruct Miller on the press but ignored A&M crowding the baseline?

You can come up with 500 reasons why they lost this game and you can blame McMahon and his coaching all you want. The bottom line is Tamba and Sutton provided essentially nothing for 40 minutes

Reece turnovers in the last 5 minutes and Nwoko foul trouble lost the game

Sutton yes.

Tamba had 11 rebounds, two assists and some good defense. We need a guy like that.
