Yes it is, but...
It’s the first weekend of March. I’m confidant JJ will eventually find a combination of fielders/DH that will work.
What has given me hope this weekend is to see some bullpen arms that can help us win. If we can find one more starter to give us 6 innings, we’re going to be fine.

We've seen LSU teams with worse flaws than this one figure it out.
Last year we went to the Supers and I thought we were DOA by April.
Johnson seems smart and capable. He'll make the corrections to maximize whatever we got.
My own personal opinion, if Mainieri thought this team had enough to make a run this year he'd have stayed 1 more year.
