Maybe Jay expects to play a game tomorrow. Herring and Edwards probably aren't gonna give you 6 innings without having to use them both. Its a gamble but if you can get 2 innings out of someone else Edwards can go the rest of the way

This has to be it. He's throwing a lot of offspeed. And even Skenes had gone pretty heavy to the slider while he was in.
