Anytime you win a road series in conference, it's a good thing.
I also like the way the team didn't fold when the pressure came on in the 9th.
I like a team that can fend off a late game rally or comeback attempt.

Subbing Hughes in at 2B saved that one

Not too far off from where we were at this point in 2017. Who knows where we'll end up, but I wouldn't bet against this team.

It would be great if we could get everyone healthy for the last 3-4 weeks and see where we stand.

Yes, it looked bad.
I don’t believe the kid has been called upon to close out back to back games, but even though he struggled he sucked it up and did his job.
Hughes helped with a nice play too. He also did his job.

pretty sure we have the same exact conference record and a very similar overall record at the same point in the season as 2017. I know we started 10-8 in the SEC and finished 11-1. We also had 5 or 6 midweek losses in 2017

The flashed it on the screen twice today and I as soon as I thought to take a pic of it they took it down both times.

I wasn't exactly serious there

My apologies. The sarcasm is difficult to detect when it comes to Mainieri lately.
