Goddamn, 3 straight pitches in to a lefty. And their announcer makes a good point. There’s not enough difference in velo to sneak 95 by you on the inner half when they’ve been seeing that 90 mph split. It doesn’t slow their bats down enough to get away with missing over the plate.
Oh well, I thought he looked good except for that 1 pitch. I think he can get us a few outs over the weekend.
