i will start this off by saying, i have little doubt the Tigers win this game …. But…. it is a major issue that they can’t throw strikes consistently. These kids have been pitching since they were 9 years old, literally…. and there is no reason they shouldn’t be able to throw strikes consistently. So would rather be getting hit against, than can’t throw strikes and walking batters. a walk is a 1.000 percent OBP, if you throw strikes and make them hit, it is maybe .250, .300 if they are good.
