Vandy has an elite OL. That's the main difference in this game, along with a better QB and better coaching. It seems uncanny that Vandy is a better team than LSU, but the truth is surfacing its ugly head-- in spades

LSU has allowed 12.2 PPG this season in FBS games. That is 4th in FBS. They have allowed just 3.4 PPG in the 2nd half.
Vandy has allowed 22.6 PPG, which is 44th in FBS. Second-half points are 8.4 PPG, 22nd.
All that means nothing, though.

One touchdown in a half against Vandy isn’t going to get it done. Have to get a stop and a score out the half to get some momentum

Drop this game and I would hope some serious conversations would be had.
There is no comparison in terms of talent between LSU and Vandy. There is an obvious coaching disconnect.

LSU is not in the top 50 in 3 & out efficiency or better yet in 3rd down efficiency. We are better then last year but I don’t see why ppl keep saying how great our defense is.

Not substituting on 3rd down has led to very easy plays by Vandy. That’s bad coaching decisions. Perk had a rough half but coach hasn’t helped.
