The amount of times I’ve seen our middle infield out of position from the shift under Jay is so frustrating

Even if you have the data you have to know, without a doubt, that the pitcher can put the ball where it can only be hit into the shift.


Very very very few college pitchers are capable of that.

Yes they do but pitchers in college largely aren’t good enough to locate pitches to induce hits into the shift like mlb pitchers are
