91 pitches through 6 and a no-no seems a little rare.

Man on 1st and no outs...no hitter still in place. 96 pitches...

McManus up...

High...1-0
Foul...1-1
Swing and miss...1-2 (Kyle is right...why can't he bunt for a hit?)
Low...ball gets away but Morgan stays put...2-2
RBI Triple off the top of the CF wall...Thrasher (CF) is dead after going up and missing it.

Thrasher is now sitting up and walking back now. Cart is on the field.

Kyle Peterson I’d rather be a 2 seed then host as the 16. Ok Kyle. That’s not even the dumbest he’s said in the last 24 hours.

Beating UT twice @ UT is a very tough task.

You are more likely to host a SR in that scenario, too.

Let's say we are sent to Austin in D1's last projection.

Texas (11)
OR
LSU
Arizona

Maryland (6)
Canisius
Virginia
Liberty

So you’d rather lessen your chance to get to a super regional to not play a team? We lost 5-2 with our second best pitcher and without two offensive stars. Let’s get to a super regional and worry about who later.

LSU's record vs SEC teams at home was worse than their road record. The Box has not been a factor in their performance.

That’s a homerun. Ball went off the CF’s glove and hit above the stripe

We have played two game

That each ended around 2am. 3 games in 3 days with an early afternoon game for the 3rd is tough with a thin pitching staff. We aren’t built for it. Then it’s deflating to watch the starter go out there and look like a little league pitcher trying to find the zone.

This team can win a regional. This team can possibly win a 3 game series. If Jay gets this team into Omaha, it’s an all world coaching job. They won’t come close to winning anything of significance after they get there. Top end talent is there, but there are so many holes.

You have to get there first. Which as a host is easier.

Slightly easier to get there and then very difficult to move on to Omaha.

The goal is to win it all - getting UT in a game or two at Omaha is alot easier.
