Finally checking into this thread. Been on cloud 9 since the last out!
I was going to be happy if we won the game 3-2. Returning the blowout favor was barely in my thought process at all. To go out and do that was phenomenal. THAT is what will be remembered now. No one will ever care about Florida's game 2 win, from here on.
Thompson giving us what we needed was huge. Proud of him! Beloso in the leadoff spot, with how he's been playing, was an excellent idea, and he was outstanding... Again. Crews, White and Morgan playing like the stars they are and needed to be was right on time. Jobert and Pearson getting back on track and hitting missiles. Milazzo getting on base three times, and scoring from first on a single... What a great performance by him to set up the top of the order and put the pressure on. Praying for his recovery.
Hurd delivered the exact performance we needed, and bounced back beautifully from the way it started. I wasn't sure we were in for a good night after that. Great effort there. And then Cooper and Guidry bringing it home. What else can I say? There were so many fantastic performances in this game.

What would be the odds of LSU winning title after losing ridiculously called umpire game to Wake last Monday? LSU faced three consecutive elimination games just to get to finals. LSU had to beat Tennessee twice, Wake Forest twice and Florida twice to win championship. Unbelievable achievement.
