Yeah I thought the rule was of hit outside of batters box its auto out as if ball is in play however I may be mistaken.

It hits the glove. If it hit the foot it wouldn't have made it to the glove. Or am I just high?

The entire foot of the batter has to be out of the batters box and on the ground for him to be out

I don't know the rule on that. I'm assuming since he was touching part of the line it wasn't considered out of the box
