I hate that we're letting this pitcher come back to have a respectable outing. Nearly had him out of the game in the 2nd
We do it occasionally.
We have a big inning and get ahead and the bats go cold.

Pretty sure JP started a midweek, no? After him and Josh went back to back a few weeks ago?

Their P is arse. 4 runs is pathetic.

Jones has played 3rd more than Pearson. And honestly I wish coach would let us see that for a full game on a Tuesday

Did he field at all at any point? Or just DH? Maybe that’s what I’m thinking

who cares? Braswell needs to start against LH and Reaves against RH. Its worked all year why change in Game 2 of the Oklahoma series?
Because Reaves is hitting .364 entering today, Braswell .232. They are seeing what Reaves can do, again, he's obviously earned the shot

No, John Pearson has never started a game. When he has come in the field, it's been in the OF at the very end of a game once or twice. Not 3B

can't tell if sarcasm or not...but I'm willing to bet I can count his plate appearances vs lefties on 1 hand
Go ahead. Someone asked how many ABs he had vs Lefties. Maybe there’s a reason he doesn’t bat vs SouthPaws a lot?

Funny how some of these same people were arguing that Frey has earned a shot vs RHP

Blue loves that low zone

Now? There’s nothing new about that
Exactly. Framing has always been a part of it. So has pitching to wherever the catcher is set up before the pitch. If the catcher doesnt reach for it the pitch looks a whole lot better even off the plate.
Also, the skill set of a pitcher and catcher (and hitter) to figure out an Ump and exploit it is one element of baseball i do not want to see taken away. Its part of the game. I honestly dont care what the strike zone looks like so long as its consistent for both teams.
