but yeah like we said earlier i woulda been thrown out after that. I would have went nuts. That's incompetence that the college game has no room for.

I saw the Kentucky Oregon earlier. Its clear as can be they don't want SEC teams advancing. Its crazy

I don't think the top part of the SEC is as good this year but top to bottom it is much stronger.

I'm torn on who to start tomorrow. A case can be made both ways:
Case for starting Hoover: after watching Walljasper throw nasty spinning lollipops today, the adjustment to Hoover's heat could be tough for the FSU batters. Over 3 days, they would have gone from seeing heat to seeing soft stuff to seeing heat again. Torina loves this concept.
Case for starting Walljasper: she completely baffled them all day...pitch her until they prove they can hit her, then bring Hoover in as needed.
I don't think there is a wrong choice, but if I had to make a choice I think I start Hoover and bring in Walljasper as needed. Not an easy call. I'm sure Torina is going to give it a lot of thought.
Where I do give Torina a lot of credit is in the fact that she knows when to switch pitchers during a game when one pitcher doesn't seem to have it. See the Monday game when she put Hoover in for Walljasper in the 3rd vs. ULL.

Its not even a choice. Walljasper needs to start, they have yet to show any sign of hitting her. Not that hoover can't do it but they obviously had a much more difficult time will Alli. Why run from what is working? Yes they saw her yesterday but they still haven't figured her out at all. They saw hoover as well and seemed to see her much more.
You start Walljasper and play until they start to hit her then you use hoover. Its an easy decision. It was like last week with hoover and ULL. Obviously ULL saw Walljasper more and so we stuck with hoover. It obviously worked.

i would not call her pitches "lolliops". she has plenty speed to go with her spins. love her control of keeping it low and on the corners. Hoover may have a nice rise but if that baby goes flat it is most probably jacked out the park.
