I amnot surprised if we lose this game. I blame it on the coach. Doing nothing, just sit there and write a poem.

I'm still trying to determine the strike zone. He call a ball over the outside the plate. Then strike on the exact same pitch and location

I hope the guy behind the plate isn't the ump from Alabama-Minnesota last week.

Hell of an effort by Doyle

You almost have too, I mean yesterday apatrently the strike zone extended into the other batters box

Is that the softball version of the eephus pitch?

Walljasper looks like she settled down. Looks more in control now.

This ump calls it a strike an hour later

11.4.8 Shall be judged according to the relative position of the ball and the foul line, including the foul pole, and not with respect to the position of the fielder (on fair or foul ground) at the time the ball is contacted.
I've rewatched it in slow mo and can't tell even from the sun where the ball was when it contacted her glove. When she lined up before it hit her glove, she was clearly lining up as if the ball is in fair territory. At the last second, she quickly moves her glove and body towards the line as if the wind of sun caused her to not see it until the last minute. That's the best I can tell.
If the ump had a clear view of it, maybe it's the right call. The one on the line, was close.

should easily be 4-0
wouldn't be far-fetched to say 5-0

Alright! We need some insurance runs here...

Now I see why they haven't lost a home game all season, they've probably had the same umpire crew work all 29 games

Walljasper and Hoover are both gamers. They pick each other up all the time. They both can get it done under presssure. I haven't seen a dynamic duo with the chemistry that they have with each other
