The only thing that makes any sense is the ump didn’t give the batter time. He just backed out of the box and Anderson saw this and didn’t pitch. Then Blue called the violation. Yes I agree it doesn’t make any sense at all. But looks like Jay was saying he put his hands up and he said he didn’t and pitcher should’ve thrown the ball.
