Hotels downtown are extremely expensive but there are lots of cheaper hotels near UT on interstate 35 esp near Hwy 290

Texas is way to greedy to share any $$$ with NRG. Plus they have 100+ seating. Lets hope the game is at night and not 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Its freaking hot here during that time of year.
I would stay in North Austin, Pflugerville or Round Rock (23 miles from campus) unless you are looking for the downtown feel........

It will be a night game on ABC almost certainly. Do NOT stay in Round Rock or Plugerville - very dull, not close, and lots of traffic
