Boy stop the ??… The fricking convention center in downtown New Orleans had set up a makeshift hospital but yea they weren’t overwhelmed. The fact that nurses were getting flown to hotspots left and right never happened right? None of this ever happened. Got it.

We were never overwhelmed even when the vaccination rate was 0%

Most who have chosen to not get the vaccine have done so because they do not believe that they're at an increased risk, and they're probably right. The high risk population have no excuse for not getting the vaccine unless they have a medical condition which places them at greater risk. Why do you want to hold the whole country hostage for those who've made the conscious decision to not get the vaccine? Makes zero sense.

You're being overly dramatic. But unvaccinated should be at bottom rung for ICU beds, unless they have a documented medical reason for not getting vaccine.
Fine let's play this out. If you are obese, none of my taxes or insurance premiums should go toward taking care of your unhealthy arse. Get in shape or die on your own dime. Does that work?

Went to the Dodgers game last night. LA county went back to everyone wearing masks indoors as well. Walking a covered concourse and standing in line for concessions is considered “indoors”.
There wasn’t a person wearing a mask doing any of that. I wouldn’t worry about the mask mandate shite. People out here don’t give a frick about this anymore, like the rest of us.

You think the whole purpose of getting vaccinated it so avoid wearing a mask? You really don't get it
So the government thinks that the best way to convince people to get the vaccine is by telling them nothing will change if they do? Genius.

Maybe. We'll see. I have a feeling this requirement will get dropped by the time school starts.

Where have you been the last year, when governors and mayors shut down entire cities?
Posted on 7/20/21 at 11:56 am to RogerTheShrubber
Is this 2020 or 2021? Do we have vaccines/ treatments and better knowledge about the virus? One county put masks back into place and y’all are freaking tf out. Stop watching mainstream news dude

so do we just fill hospitals up and overwhelm them?
Lol.
This never even happened when Covid was in full bloom.
Posted on 7/20/21 at 12:30 pm to Bjorn Cyborg
Multiple cities including New York and New Orleans built emergency hospitals that were never even used. Turns out that even putting people sick with covid on ventilators was one of the worst things that you could do to them. Hell, New York even had like a cruise like ship turned into a hospital that was never used.

The vaccine does not protect you from contracting it. You can very well be a carrier. I’m sure this has been said to you 1 million times over the past year. A mask will help/limit the possibility of transmitting it to an unvaccinated person who could potentially wind up in the hospital and perish.

Yet Pasadena WILL SOON require face masks indoors again.

Face masks will soon be required indoors again in Pasadena, regardless of a person’s vaccination status, as coronavirus cases started to mount again over the past three weeks, the city announced on Monday evening.
How old are you, 12?

This is the part I don't understand. Strong mixed signals for people to get the vaccine by suggesting they still have to mask up.
Maybe, but notice they’re not requiring social distancing. So just wear a mask inside and take it off when you leave.

Sure, or have a BMI based premium for the fat arse.
