I like it. It's tradition. Now, let's just get back to playing Ole Miss, Auburn and Florida at night...that's also tradition.
Home Games Should be;
Miss. State @ 11:30 JP or 6:30 ESPN 2
Florida @ 7 ESPN
Auburn @ 7 ESPN
Arkansas @ 1:30 CBS

...because LSU really cares about your schedule dude...c'mon man!

pretty sure LSU can say no when they ask you to move the date of the game. I don't know why we agreed to this.

There's nothing "traditional" about it. Arkansas hasn't been in the SEC long enough for anything about its games with LSU to be called "traditional." It's all about CBS throwing its weight around to get a game in the middle of an afternoon on a long holiday weekend. Mike Slive, with the encouragement of Joe Alleva and Mike Martin, needs to grow a pair and tell CBS that scheduling a game against a tough opponent at the end of a long, brutal season with one less day to prepare is simply unacceptable. Anybody who thinks CBS wouldn't pony up just a much money to deal with the game on a Saturday doesn't understand how desperate networks are for content. The SEC is in the stronger negotiating position.

That's not fricking tradition. How about we play Arkansas on Saturday NIGHT at 7pm, that's fricking tradition

I don't mind the Friday game. It would give us an extra day before the SEC championship.
If the Tigers get to Atlanta this is certainly a positive.

How have the ratings for the past few Friday games we've played in compared to the Saturday games the past two years? Network TV on a day when there's not many other games on seems like a better deal to me.

I like this. I always had a thing for the Friday game.

I hate this damn game. Lately it's just flat out sucked. Take it off Thanksgiving break. I'm tired of coming home for Thanksgiving break, hanging with the family and then the next day or two watching a gut-wrenching loss by LSU. It seems like everything that can go wrong goes wrong against Arkansas.
Like this year's game or 2008 or 2007.

I wish CBS would rotate the Black Friday game between the SEC rivalries, personally

I like the Friday games.
Screw all you haters.

This was discussed on the SEC rant about a month ago. This sucks arse IMO. Saturday night in Death Valley>>>Friday afternoon in Death Valley.

[quote]The game had been played on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the last two years. Prior to that, the game had been played on Friday since 1996.
So 14 years isn't long enough for tradition these days??

So what happened to the Friday Bama v. Auburn game? Has that been moved to Saturday?
IMO: This is always a better matchup for LSU if there is a chance for a night game.
