It will after this year.

THIS. go 4-4 in the sec again, and start putting out feelers. were not a program that should accept mediocrity.

Booger's right. He goes 8-5 again that ain't cutting it, nor should it IMHO. This is the SEC, we are LSU and that's the reality.
We are not Kentucky or Vandy.
I personally don't wish it to come to that, but to think another 8-5 and Les ain't getting some heat, you are fooling yourselves.
I think we'll do better this year though. Just too much talent.

Yeah no it isn't.
Miles is gone if we don't win atleast 10 games this year barring a major injury situation.
On a scale of hair dryer to hades I would rate his seat as hot as sextape of Taylor Swift and Kate Upton riding the sybian.

Football players don't get better than booger but he gets a D as a LSU fan !
Posted on 7/16/15 at 7:32 am to blackjackjackson
There is zero chance he gets fired, barring two sub 7-win seasons in a row with bowl losses, which will never happen.
The sooner you dummies realize that, the better off you'll be.

I'd like to think we can disagree on a message board.

This is no secret. Les has TWO YEARS to compete for s.e.c. or n.c. (this year and next)
It's why chavis is gone. All lsu assistants are on a two year contract. It's why Kevin Steele was hired, one of few who would agree to a two year deal. Les's contract buyout reduces greatly in two years. Everything is set up for a change in two years if he doesn't produce to the level we have been in the past. He produces, everyone signs new extensions.

This program has more mediocrity in its history than prolonged success.

We can. I think people who believe Miles is on the hot seat are dumb. I'm sure the people who think it like to believe they are not dumb.

Does reality only exist in 14 year increments?

Les about to get another raise. Everytime the fan base thinks his seat is warm he ends up with a raise.

We have a winner.

"He's got to get to 10 wins,
I agree with everything but this... we posted 10 wins in 2012 and 2013. IMO, if he wants all the whispers to subside, he's got to win 11 regular season, including a win over Alabama, win the division, and win the conference.
The irony in this is that we've already experienced what people have to say if Miles wins the conference and not the national championship, so who the hell knows?

to me, "warm" seat means that people are getting a little impatient, but there is no realistic threat of job loss.
Yep...still enough to put miles maniacs into a tizzy

10 wins would be a good season for LSU this year. It's becoming more and more apparent that Chavis and Brick royally fricked LSU's depth in the front 7. Take that, the shitshow that is LSU's QB situation and the unknown that is the DC situation, and LSU could be in for a long season.
This is coming from someone who had high hopes for 2015 before last season.

So by your logic Army and Yale should be expecting national championships every year?
What an idiot
What an idiot

Even with limited depth in the front 7, I'm expecting no less than 8 straight wins followed by at least 2-2 in November and a bowl win.
Steele and Orgeron have revitalized the program. Fournette has everyone talking about us on a national stage, and we have a superstar at every level on defense for the first time since Nevis, Sheppard, and Peterson.
Between Godchaux and Lacouture up front, Beckwith in the middle, and Tre White and Jamal Adams on the back end, this should again be an imposing unit.
