"Your new offense is a big 12 offense so we are not worried"

"Tx offense is slightly better and SE is much better than LSU and burrow, and your D is really only slightly better than TX D"

"Glad yall improved your offense because a close game is more fun to watch and we are gonna score on the Tigers every drive"

"The stadium will be very hostile to tiger fans, but it shouldnt matter because there wont be many there"

"I think TX has advantage on offense and special teams, home field advantage, and the defenses are equal, I'm not worried"

"Winners find a way to win and losers find a way to lose. Lsu loses big games and TX wins big games. Just look at what we did in GA game"

If LSU wins it will be because TX made one too many mistakes or turnovers, TX is the better team in all three aspects"

"Its going to be 100 degrees, you Louisiana boys ain't ready for TX heat"

When asked about Elingher less than stellar accuracy: "it looked like the 1st game and not enough passes in practice, I'm sure they will be sharp as a razor Sat." And "I think he was purposely sloppy to lull defenses into a sense of security"

And a some mixed rational statements:
"I'm not worried about yall throwing on us, we can shut that down, but to potential for a power running game is bothersome"

"Your oline isnt good enough to stop our pass rush but I'm worried about or Dlineman stopping the run"

When asked about talent vs experienced developed talent

"Talent is talent, TX has just as many 3,4,5 star rated players as LSU in every position. Your DBs really aren't any better than ours"

Love the 'not going to be many Tiger fans there...'

In fact, there will be a lot of empty seats for remaining games. Why? ...We bought thousands of season tickets.

This might be the single dumbest thing I've ever seen on the Internet. Ever.

I guess having the 30th ranked pass defense instead of the 110th means that we are only "slightly better"

Defenses are far from equal..

Are Texas fans that fricking stupid?

Louisiana Tech passed it 50 times and they didn't get one QB pressure, I'm fairly confident our O-Line is better then LA Techs too.

I lean to LSU in this game but I'll say that the confidence I see (including off this board) is quite "impressive" from the LSU side.

I'm sure LSU players are hearing all that too. What a cakewalk and soft team UT is.

This game won't be close, I expect LSU to easily cruise to a win.

If someone actually made this comment, it may honestly be the dumbest football-related thing I've ever seen someone say.

Wait until they come to Tiger Stadium, it wont be 100 degrees but it will be 110% humidity.

You ever tried to do 20 push ups in a steam room?

Get ready for 60 minutes of struggling to breath and constantly cramping.

Those first two quote are the ones that get me. First off, anti-SEC homers are far more obsessed with the SEC thing than SEC fans. Like, we're not Georgia. We barely play in the same conference and share just a few opponents in common. And, LSU doesn't run "a Big 12 offense," it runs "an offense." The difference between us and Oklahoma St is the sheer volume of talent LSU has. On the flip side, we ain't Oklahoma, because no one is. But Texas gave up 45 to OU and 38 to Okie St last year, so perhaps they shouldn't be bragging about how they can stop Big 12 offenses.

But it's the second bit that's downright insane. LSU's defense averaged a full yard less in average yards/play allowed. And LSU returns the bulk of their defense while Texas is rebuilding. LSU had a much better defense last year, and if anything, the gap widened.

Before Saturday I thought this one would go down to the wire but we'd win a close one. I'm thinking we win by at least 2 touchdowns now. Our wide-open attack will put our athletes in space and show just how much of a physical advantage we have over UT. Plus, Ehlinger is going to have to be practically a one-man show for their offense, as Ingam is the only good, healthy back they have. That spells disaster against a Dave Aranda defense.

I was feeling good about this game before. I feel great now

Every one of those people are repeating comments they've read on a message board. There's no other explanation.

Anyone who thinks our defenses are equal is a moron.

Anyone who thinks Louisiana boys don't know what heat is, is a dumbass.

Anyone who thinks Ehlinger intentionally made errant throws is an idiot.

Anyone who thinks LSU fans won't do their best to completely take over that stadium is a dipshit.

Anyone who thinks they're world beaters because they beat the same Georgia team that LSU absolutely crushed last season is amusingly retarded.

Anyone who truly and honestly believes that Texas' DBs are anywhere near as good as LSU DBs is legitimately mentally ill. I mean, seriously, I will donate to help for their mental assessment and treatment.

It's close but I think I can top it. When Manning was QB for the Broncos, I heard a Broncos fan say, "We were more fundamentally sound when Tebow was quarterback."
